The Victoria Cross (VC) is the highest military decoration awarded for valour in the face of the enemy to members of the armed forces of some Commonwealth countries and previous British Empire territories. It is the joint highest award for bravery in the United Kingdom with the George Cross, which is the equivalent honor for valour not in the face of the enemy.
Especially this khukuri is devotion to the Gurkhas VC by Nepalese Khukuri House to mark its greatest appreciation.
There are including 8 Gurkha VCs displayed on the blade on both sides. Each of them has their own valiant history and brave of military battle.
